A Brookline referral chapter built on trust since 1995

BNI Brookline Networkers is a group of vetted local professionals who meet every Tuesday morning to pass referrals, sharpen their businesses, and look out for each other.

Our Chapter

Our chapter

Since 1995, BNI Brookline Networkers has been a trusted source for professional services across health, home, and business, serving both consumers and local companies throughout Brookline and the surrounding communities. We're one of BNI's original chapters and part of BNI Massachusetts.

We've built a culture of professionalism, generosity, and genuine connection. Our weekly meetings help members build referrals, strengthen relationships, and grow both personally and professionally. The confidence we have in one another is what makes our referrals strong, and the friendships that form along the way are a natural part of our community.

Our Philosophy

BNI's Givers Gain® philosophy

Givers Gain® is BNI's primary core value. The idea is simple: by giving business to others, you get business in return.

Members come each week looking for ways to help the people around the table. Over time, that habit of giving builds the trust that makes every referral stronger.

How It Works

How referral networking works

BNI is a structured referral marketing program. Instead of collecting business cards, members build real working relationships with a small group of trusted professionals.

  • One seat per profession. Each category is held by one member, so you never compete with someone in the room.
  • Contact spheres. Members are grouped into Home, Health, Business, and Marketing spheres: professionals who serve the same clients and refer to each other naturally.
  • Weekly presentations. Every member gives a 40-second presentation each Tuesday, plus a longer feature presentation about twice a year.
  • "I-haves" every week. After their presentation, each member has 10 seconds to share their "I-haves": referrals passed, TYFCB (Thank You For Closed Business), and 1-to-1 meetings.
